Lisa Raynes BA (hons) Dip Arch UCL RIBA Chartered Architect
Lisa is a Chartered Architect, Chairman of the RIBA North West Solo Practitioners Group, Past Chairman of Women in Property’s (WiP) North West branch. A qualified architect with 15 years’ post qualification experience, she has worked with Halliday Meecham in Manchester for seven years, and prior to that Urban Splash and Ian Simpson Architects. She works mainly in the housing, social housing, masterplanning, commercial and listed building sectors.
Lisa has recently joined the Management Board of Outreach. Outreach provides individualized residential and community services for Jewish and non-Jewish adults with learning disabilities and/or long term mental health needs. Lisa says ‘This is an amazing opportunity to give me an insight into housing provision for people who are faced with real challenges in their day to day living, from learning disability to long term mental health needs. The work we can do through Outreach will help raise the bar in the future to make sure that those needs are met’
In 2010 Lisa decided the time was right to set up her new practice Raynes Architecture in South Manchester. Raynes Architecture incorporated in February 2011
