What our clients say!

'its been a really intense enjoyable day. Some of the plans were absolutely perfect-exactly what we want. Now there's lots more to think about. We've got a plan to work on going forward. It's been really great working with Magda'
Private Client North West, March 2016
' It was lovely exercise and I enjoyed it enormously'
Private Client Worsley, Oct 2014
'(Lisa is) that very special person that got stuff on paper and emptied my head so I don't have to carry on rabbiting on about it!'
Sarah Lavelle-Huxley, Hoghton, Preston, Sept 2014
We were impressed with Lisa's knowledge and professionalism from our first meeting and this is why we selected the Raynes Architecture team to assist us with our planned extension on our end terrace home in Chorlton. We felt supported and guided throughout the process, receiving sound advise that reflected a clear understanding of our objectives and budget and were very pleased with the end design.
Louise Grainger, Chorlton, Oct 2014

Lisa was a delight to work with and from the outset was understanding of what the brief was and provided sound planning advice in securing multiple planning approvals within quite a short timescale. Following agreement of the brief, Lisa offered numerous internal layout and elevation options to demonstrate how might I optimise the space and external appearance of the property and how might this be achievable from a planning perspective. Overall experience was professional, approachable and creative.
Private Client, High Legh, March 2014.

Here are some clients talking about the design workshop....
'The Student Common Room refurbishment at Bradford Arkwright Hall has been really successful. Working with Raynes Architecture has been so refreshing.
The walk through you did was brilliant, and we appreciated all your help with the interior design.
It's really great to see something completely different. Now people from competitors halls want to use our spaces.'
Tristram King, Opal Property Group

'We instructed Raynes Architecture to help us obtain the necessary designs, plans and sustainability information to obtain planning permission for a new build project. Lisa worked with all members of the team well to ensure that all matters were dealt with to comply with current policy and legislation and amended plans where necessary to accommodate the planners requests. Lisa represented us at the Planning Council meeting and presented and argued case professionally and succeeded in obtaining the planning permission on the terms that we wanted. We are delighted with the service from start to finish and would not hesitate in recommending her.'
Claire Beaumont
'This is really beautiful. Lisa is doing am amazing job.I love the stone work being mirrored in the wooden door. And the overhang of the roof I think works perfectly.
There was a point when I emailed you a photo of my beautiful garden that I thought this may be a really bad idea, but I really think you have come up with something amazing, lets hope that planning agree!'

Private Client, London
"Lisa is a true professional.  She listens, gets to know you and your needs and applies her knowledge and experience to ensure every detail is addressed.  We have not been an easy client, changing our minds numerous times on issues.  Lisa has always accommodated this and offered practical and acceptable solutions, which has sometimes meant working under pressure and time constraints.  She has been very conscious that the accommodation will remain our home and very attentive to ensure our lifestyle needs are met.
We are delighted with the designs that Lisa has produced, her approach to her work, her attention to detail and her enthusiasm in ensuring that our dream home will be created." Wendy Tate, Wilmslow, Private Client
In Didsbury, Lisa beautifully crafted a loft extension and gave the family an extra bathroom and a large bedroom. "Now, the house is an oasis of child-free calm. There are no more queues for the bathroom in the morning, the loft extension has made the house more functional and it was a lot cheaper than moving - we'll never have to move again."
“Lisa devised a scheme for a 30sqm residential unit in London that completely transformed the space by creating a 1 bedroom flat from a studio thereby maximising the potential of this property. Her spatial flair turned a smallish room into a spacious and flexible living space. It was a pleasure to work with her and I would happily do so again.” Rachel Moses
“Lisa, while employed by Halliday Meecham, acted as project Architect on a challenging Student Hub facility, this required an innovative and creative design solution within difficult Town Planning and budget parameters. Lisa engaged and maintained a good working relationship with the client and other stakeholders and was key to the successful delivery of the project meeting the brief requirements within budget and programme.”
Richard Crumpton Sector Project Manager Lend Lease PM&C

"Lisa pays attention to detail and works well as part of a team. We worked together on a retail scheme in the Piccadilly Gardens Manchester, Lisa was an asset to the delivery of the project."
