Architect Lisa Raynes was recently crowned winner of the Women in Business Property Industry Business Woman of the Year at the Forward Ladies awards ceremony.
Past Women in Property Chairman Lisa founded Raynes Architecture during the recession and continues to flourish. An architect with 17 years experience in housing and listed building refurbishment, she is a supporter of Women in Architecture and seeks to help fellow architects wanting to start up or return to a notoriously female-unfriendly industry. She is a mentor and guest speaker at Salford and Manchester Universities, and a supporter of Shelter, through the Architect in the House scheme. She was a Woman of the Year in 2009, is an avid blogger and regularly appears in national media.
Lisa said 'I'm thrilled to have won, it shows anything can be achieved. I'm pleased to be involved with Forward Ladies and delighted tom have won. I'm looking forward to the new challenges ahead."
