Wanted: People with a healthy interest in the City of Manchester seeking a peek behind the scenes at some of the City's most inspiring buildings.
Manchester is opening it's doors this October. Loosely based on Open House London, from 2-4 October 2015 Manchester Curious has lots of cool, special and amazing buildings and spaces open to the public. The idea is to get people excited about our city by showing them the architecture that brings it to life. Manchester Curious is part of Manchester Architects celebration of its 150 year anniversary and is supported by the RIBA NW, BDP and Hobs. We're also working with Maggie's. To date confirmed venues include the Warehouse Project, Urban Splash, BDP, 42nd Street, RNCM. We'd love to get more buildings involved especially private homes in and around Manchester. If you want to open your special place, you know of one that should be part of this new event, or you'd like to be one of our volunteers please get in touch via www.manchestercurious.com.
