Eleanor Winder
Eleanor qualified in Interior Design back in 2004 with a keen passion for design and architecture. She then pursued a career in the creative world of fashion, retail, furniture, interiors and exhibition. In 2009, wanting to focus more on architecture, she returned to education and has recently graduated with a first class honours in Architectural Design and Technology from University of Salford.
During this time back in education she had to self-finance and continued practising as a freelance designer undertaking several projects including work for Manchester Museum and City Art Gallery to name but a few. She was selected by the head of her course as being one of the top students and was regional finalist in the WIP student awards 2011.
Eleanor has also undertaken an extensive house renovation project with her partner and is currently bringing a 1910 terrace back to life with a touch of her personal design flare; she loves bringing old furniture pieces back to life and making her own clothes and furnishings.
Now graduated she is now looking forward to focusing on her career in architecture at Raynes Architecture, being able to put into practice all that she has learnt in the last 10 years, ultimately wanting to enjoy the exciting diversity of design.
