Women in Property member, Nasira was a worthy winner after beating Louise Morrissey from Peel Holdings and Lucy Worrall, from Croftons Solicitors to the prestigious property title and rounded off the awards by seeing off nine other finalists to scoop the overall title of Outstanding Woman of the Year.
Having set up PIN Consultancy in 2007, Nasira quickly established herself as a leading property professional and was listed in Place North West’s 100 influential property people in 2009. Her company asset manages several industrial sites and office buildings within the north west and whist this keeps her busy, Nasira also finds time to nurture other female property professionals as well as volunteering with the youth offending team and working with young people as a pace maker for the police.
Lisa Raynes, Raynes Architecture and former Chairman of Women in Property North West, nominated Nasira for the property award and said: ‘Nasira has not only set up a successful business in a tough climate but is encouraging and supporting other women in the industry. Nasira is a true inspiration and a real example of what can be achieved.’
On winning both awards Nasira said: ‘It was a surprise and an honor to not only be nominated but to win two magnificent awards. I dedicate both awards to my family, my supportive brothers and sister and my team at PIN as without them I could not have achieved this. I would also like to thank my father who has shaped and molded me into the person I am today.’
